We believe in intentional interiors.
Welcoming. Bright. Inspiring. Creative. Charming. Cool. A Gem. Hidden Treasure. These are all words that people have used to describe Cincinnati Spaces when they walk inside. We love hearing this feedback, because everything inside our two locations has been done with intention. From the furniture to the art installations to the snacks, there is purpose behind all of it. You may not be able to put your finger on what it is that you love about Cincinnati Spaces, but there is one thing we know for sure: you will love it.
Guiding Design Principles
Biomimicry is the imitation of life and the living, natural world. Biomimicry in design is supposed to reflect nature’s patterns and strategies. You will find both of these features within the design, decor, art installations, and layout of The Space Community Workplace.
Ergonomics is the study of people's efficiency in their working environment. At The Space, you will find this study applied through the use of ergonomic furniture, lighting, music, and writing/office materials.
The five earth elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water) are reflected in many ways at The Space, including aspects of our design, artwork, branding, furniture, decor, and lighting. These five energies are also the pillars of the ancient Chinese design technique of Feng Shui.
To be productive, we all need to have the right amounts of the right kinds of light. From natural light that shines throughout the day to bright white ceiling lights, The Space is always lit for creativity and collaboration.
Studies show that people who live in work in “walkable” communities are healthier. We encourage all visitors of The Space to walk through the charming streets and shops of our historic Montgomery, Ohio, community.
We welcome businesses, organizations, and individuals to come to The Space to find a supportive network of entrepreneurs, small business owners, and professionals from across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
Cincinnati Spaces is proud to partner with Enriching Spaces to offer creative, beautiful offsite meeting spaces.
The Space Community Workplace is able to uphold its commitment to ergonomic, adaptable spaces due in large part to the generosity of Enriching Spaces, a Cincinnati interior design and project management company,
Enriching Spaces is devoted to enriching spaces for working, healing, learning, and dwelling, and they generously loaned The Space Community Workplace the majority of our furniture in exchange for our willingness to serve as a living showroom for its high-end office furniture, including showcase pieces from leading designers like Herman Miller, OFS, Exemplis, and more.
Enriching Spaces is also our sister site for larger events and conferences! If you love The Space but have more than 50 people to host, we will gladly partner with Enriching Spaces and host your event in their Forest Park headquarters.
